The transfer of RB Leipzig's Angeliño to AS Roma is complete. The 27-year-old Spaniard is moving to Italy. This was confirmed by RB on Friday. The left-back, who had previously been on loan to the traditional club from the Italian capital, is to sign a contract there until the end of June 2028. The Italians have thus exercised a purchase option for the loan signing from the Bundesliga club from Saxony, who will reportedly receive a transfer fee of five million euros.
Angeliño initially moved to Leipzig on loan from Manchester City at the start of 2020 before being signed permanently by RB in the summer of 2021. He had been on loan to Roma since January of this year, and previously to TSG Hoffenheim and Galatasaray Istanbul.
