Third division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue has once again been sanctioned by the sports court of the German Football Association (DFB). The club has been fined 23,000 euros for discriminatory and unsportsmanlike behavior by its supporters in the match against Hallescher FC in September. During the match, Auer supporters had displayed a banner with discriminatory content. In addition, some of them shouted a discriminatory slogan in the 85th minute in the direction of the Halle fans.
