Hertha BSC are back in touch with third place after two wins in a row in the second division. Pal Dardai's team will be looking to continue this positive trend at Eintracht Braunschweig. The club from Lower Saxony are 15th and fighting against relegation.
Unbeaten: Hertha's key player Fabian Reese has never lost to Braunschweig in the league. In six meetings, his teams Hertha and Holstein Kiel have won five and drawn one against the Lower Saxons. Reese scored two goals and provided three assists.
Strong start: Braunschweig are in third place in the table for the second half of the season. Eintracht have won three out of five games in the new year and have shot themselves out of the relegation places.
Goalscorer: Hertha striker Haris Tabakovic single-handedly decided the first leg (3-0) with a brace. It is still unclear whether the Bosnian will also be in the starting eleven on Saturday. He has been struggling recently.
Pace: Hertha's Marten Winkler is the second-fastest second-division player this season at 36.17 kilometers per hour. Braunschweig's Marvin Rittmüller is only just behind with 36.13. Only Osnabrück's Christian Conteh (36.23) has been faster than both of them so far this season.
Hertha have already hit the crossbar or post eleven times this season. That is the best figure in the second division. Eintracht are at the other end of the table. The team from Lower Saxony have only failed to score as narrowly twice.
