Leipzig (dpa) RB Leipzig's statistics against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim clearly speak in favor of the Saxons. In 14 Bundesliga encounters, there have been eight wins and three defeats. But RB have been warned: TSG have already taken five points from the Red Bull Arena, even winning 5:2 in Leipzig in 2018. Marco Rose's record against Pellegrino Matarazzo's teams is also positive, with four wins and one defeat and one draw each.
- With Hoffenheim, many players are in danger of missing out. In addition to Wout Weghorst, Maximilian Beier and the long-term injured Mergim Berisha, Ihlas Bebou has knee problems again. However, Ozan Kabak, who has been struggling recently, and Kevin Akpogu, who was suspended for the win against Bochum, are available again.
- After the mega rotation in the Champions League against Bern (2:1), RB coach Rose is likely to return to his regular line-up on Saturday (18:30/Sky).
- Hoffenheim are one of the teams with the highest mileage in the league with 1701.08 kilometers covered, only Heidenheim are currently better. RB are 13th in this ranking (1634.55 km).
- Hoffenheim have only scored once this season with goalkeeper Oliver Baumann. RB have five clean sheets in the league with keeper Janis Blaswich. However, the TSG goalkeeper is ahead of Blaswich (67.4 percent) in terms of saves with 70.4 percent.
