RB Leipzig have another injury to report. Antonio Nusa suffered a knee injury in the game against FC St. Pauli last Sunday (2-0), RB announced. Following an examination of the 19-year-old Norwegian, it was estimated that he will be out until the end of March.
Leipzig have been plagued by bad luck with injuries this season. Xaver Schlager, who had been injured for several months, had to undergo another operation the previous week and will also be out until the end of March. Yussuf Poulsen was absent against St. Pauli due to a muscle injury in his thigh.
Henrichs and Ouedraogo will be absent for longer
Benjamin Henrichs and Assan Ouedraogo will miss several months. National player Henrichs suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon in the away game at FC Bayern Munich on December 20, 2024 (1:5), while the new signing from Schalke 04 suffered a muscle injury with tendon involvement in his left thigh.
