Magdeburg beats Ulm 4:2 in a test

Second division club 1. FC Magdeburg returned from the sunny winter training camp with two test match successes in their luggage. The team from the Elbe city achieved a 4:2 win against third division side SSV Ulm.

Dresden Palace gets two ballrooms back

Dresden Palace, which was destroyed in the Second World War, has been under reconstruction for 40 years. Two ceremonial rooms of the residence of the Saxon rulers are now complete. Everything is due to be completed in 2027.
