An 18-year-old caused a series of accidents in Waldheim. The police are now investigating several traffic offenses.

An 18-year-old under the influence of alcohol and without a driver's license caused several accidents in Waldheim in central Saxony, causing considerable damage to property. Nobody was injured, according to the police. According to the information provided, the young man initially crashed into two parked cars when turning on Saturday morning. The impact caused one of the cars to be pushed onto a vehicle in front of it. Instead of stopping, the driver drove on and shortly afterwards hit another car. The police estimated the damage to be around 30,000 euros.

A little later, the officers were able to track down the 18-year-old. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.4 per mille. In addition to not having a driver's license, the young man had driven the car without the owner's permission. The police are now investigating for endangering road traffic, unauthorized removal from the scene of an accident, driving without a license and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
