The current crises are also affecting Saxony's economy. Alongside concerns, there is always positive news.

The medium-sized company WT Energiesysteme GmbH in Riesa is expanding its site for a further 30 million euros. Following a new factory building and an additional warehouse, the company is now investing in a modern administration building, WT announced. In future, planning, project development and work preparation are to be brought together under one roof there - including conference and sports rooms as well as the company canteen.

A new production hall with a training center is also being built in parallel, where, according to the announcement, it will also be possible to train in the practical assembly and grid connection of transformer stations in the future.

The company, which builds energy systems, substations and battery storage systems, spoke of a sign of sustainable growth, innovative strength and regional ties. "We are not just building concrete and steel, but an environment for people who work with conviction and passion on the energy transition."

The new buildings will be equipped with photovoltaics, parking areas will be prepared for e-mobility, battery storage systems will be included and outdoor areas will be greened.
