If you still want to ski in Saxony, you have to hurry. Because it's getting warmer and rain is affecting the slopes. Some slopes are already closing at the weekend.

Spring-like temperatures and rain are affecting the ski slopes in the Ore Mountains. On the Fichtelberg, operations on the main slope will be suspended from Sunday, as announced by the Fichtelberg Schwebebahn. The planned nostalgia ski race will take place on Saturday beforehand. Piste 9 and the lift on the Himmelsleiter will remain open in Saxony's largest alpine ski area, it said.

In Altenberg in the Osterzgebirge mountains, the lifts are already at a standstill, but are to be opened again for skiers at the weekend, said operations manager Manuel Püschel on request. The ski slope in Eibenstock is also open until the weekend.
