With the KunstBus through Upper Lusatia

The KunstBus Oberlausitz is going on tour again this weekend. On August 10 and 11, buses will regularly travel to six art locations in the region, as announced by the Upper Lusatia-Lower Silesia Transport Association. The combination of different art locations with activities to experience, learn and participate in, but also to linger and the carefree ride on the KunstBus is what makes the project so appealing and attracts numerous visitors every year.

"We know that art and culture are an essential factor for the quality of life in rural areas and are proud that our participation has enabled us to establish an event in Upper Lusatia that is already shining and will certainly be on many national calendars in the future," said the Managing Director of the transport associations, Burkhard Ehlen.

This year's art locations are the Telux socio-cultural center, the Weißwasser Glass Museum, the Sorbian Cultural Center, the Schwarz studio, the Rhododendron Park Kromlau and the Hermannsbad Bad Muskau. The KunstBus ticket costs 12 euros in advance, 15 euros on the bus and is valid for a visit to all art venues and travel on both days. Children up to the age of 16 travel free of charge.
