Aue let a lead slip against Unterhaching and then fought their way to a draw. The Veilchen thus remain unbeaten away from home.

Erzgebirge Aue remain unbeaten away from home thanks to a late goal. The third-division club drew 2:2 (1:0) at SpVgg Unterhaching. Marcel Bär (42) and Steffen Nkansah (90.+5) scored for the Saxons. Sebastian Maier (61) and Lenn Jastremski (64) scored for Unterhaching.

Aue had the first top-class chance of the game, but Marcel Bär put his effort well wide of the target. The Violets continued to outplay the hosts in all statistical respects, but were initially unable to convert this into a goal. They only managed to do so in the 42nd minute. Marcel Bär scored after a counter-attack by Mika Clausen, who ran away from the Unterhaching players and had the right eye for Marcel Bär.

In the second half, Unterhaching were like a different team. Simon Skarlatidis brought the ball into the Auer penalty area, where Sebastian Maier received it in a roundabout way and headed into the left corner of the net. The hosts turned the game around just three minutes later. Another header - this time from Lenn Jastremski - gave them a 2:1 lead. The Violets then went all out for the equalizer and were rewarded in the last minute. Steffen Nkansah (90.+5), who had come on as a substitute shortly before, scored the equalizer.
