New winter signing Eljif Elmas is in the RB Leipzig starting eleven for the first time. The North Macedonian will start against bottom club Darmstadt 98 on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky). The 24-year-old has only made seven brief appearances in the Bundesliga so far. Elmas moved to Leipzig from SSC Napoli for €23 million in January.
In addition to Elmas, coach Marco Rose has made three other changes from the Champions League game at Real Madrid. Mohamed Simakan, Kevin Kampl and Yussuf Poulsen will start against the promoted side. Instead, Dani Olmo, Benjamin Sesko, Benjamin Henrichs and Amadou Haidara are on the bench.
