The Dresdner SC women's volleyball team celebrated its second away win on the third day of Bundesliga play. The team of coach Alexander Waibl prevailed in front of 986 spectators at USC Münster with 3-0 (25:18, 25:18, 25:18).
Already in the first set, the guests were able to build a clear lead with pressure-filled tasks, a variable attacking game from a stable reception and with good block and field defense. In contrast, Münster made too many easy mistakes, and the reception also wobbled.
A similar picture was also presented in the second and third sections. The Waibl protégés acted very consistently throughout the match, never letting themselves get rattled even by the opponent's attempts to catch up. They were clearly superior to USC in all respects and attacker Hester Jasper converted the first match point after only 73 minutes for a deserved victory. Middle blocker Tia Jimerson was named "Most Valuable Player" on the visitors' side.
