A very drunk man slightly injured a six-year-old boy and a 43-year-old man on a streetcar in Dresden. According to police, the driver of line two in the direction of Gorbitz noticed the man hitting the boy from Libya and hurling racist insults at passengers on Friday evening.
When the 43-year-old then tried to intervene at the Merianplatz stop, the attacker also punched him. The boy and the driver were slightly injured. The police were alerted and arrested the 38-year-old German. A breath test revealed more than 4 per mille. The Dresden police are looking for witnesses to the incident.
