In Meissen, a boy was forgotten by his father at a highway rest area until the police intervened.

In the district of Meißen, a boy has been forgotten by his father at a highway rest area. On Tuesday afternoon, police said they found a crying boy at the Finkenberg Ost rest area on the A13 motorway.

According to the officers, the father had set off after a break on the journey towards Berlin without noticing his son was missing. Until the man arrived to embrace the six-year-old again, he was calmed down by the police with a teddy bear. The two then continued their journey together.
