CDU politician Stephan Hösl from Vogtland wants to leave his party and the CDU parliamentary group. Hösl informed the parliamentary group of this on Thursday, the CDU announced. Faction leader Christian Hartmann regretted the decision. Hösl is the loss of a seasoned member of parliament. The Chemnitz "Freie Presse" and the "Sächsische Zeitung" had previously reported on the matter. Accordingly, Hösl wants to continue with the Free Voters. Hösl, born in 1966, comes from Reichenbach and is a communications technician by profession. He joined the CDU in 2008 and has been a member of the state parliament since 2014.
