Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra raises 35,000 euros for children

The Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra's charity concert raised 35,000 euros. Gewandhaus director Andreas Schulz presented the donation cheque to the "Leipzig helps children" foundation, according to a spokesperson for the Gewandhaus Orchestra. This year, the renowned orchestra gave its 15th charity concert. The program included works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Robert Schumann.
