The general meetings at Dynamo Dresden are usually exciting. There are already personnel changes before the next one in two weeks' time.

Third division soccer club Dynamo Dresden has lost an important member of the supervisory board. As the club announced, Jens Hieckmann has resigned from the board at his own request with immediate effect. The 60-year-old had been a member of the Saxons' supervisory board since 2017 and was one of the few with soccer expertise. No reasons were given. The resignation took place two weeks before the next general meeting, at which there could be further personnel changes.

"We regret his decision, but we respect it and accept it at the same time. He has shown at all times that his heart beats for Dynamo and has always strived to make the best possible decisions for the club," said Dynamo supervisory board chairman Jens Heinig in the club's statement.

The board remains operational despite the resignation. According to the articles of association, the supervisory board must consist of at least six and no more than nine members. Following Hieckmann's resignation, the Supervisory Board currently consists of eight people.
