Defender Silas Gnaka, provided with a double for the 2-0 lead of Magdeburg (16./27.). Schalke equalized through Sebastian Polter (40th) and Derry Murkin (62nd), conceded directly the setback through Connor Krempicki (67th) and came back through Thomas Ouwejan (69th).
