The dates for the Saxony State Cup have been set and the venue for Freital has also been found.

The Saxon Football Association (SFV) scheduled the quarter-finals of the state cup on Wednesday. Accordingly, the 34th Saxon Cup will be played on the weekend of March 23/24. At the same time, the decision was made regarding the venue for the match between SC Freital and FC Erzgebirge Aue. The match will be played at the Husarensportpark Grimma, as the police had come to the conclusion that SC Freital would not be able to play the quarter-final at their own sports ground.

Kick-off in Grimma is at 14:00 on 23 March, with the match between Bischofswerdaer FV 08 and 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig taking place at the same time. On March 24 (2 p.m.), VfB Fortuna Chemnitz will play FSV Zwickau and VFC Plauen will face Dynamo Dresden. The semi-finals are to be drawn as part of a quarter-final on Sunday.
