The captain is staying on board. Victoria Krug has extended her contract with women's Bundesliga club RB Leipzig by one year and will now play for the Saxons until at least 2026. The 27-year-old joined RB in 2021, was promoted to the Bundesliga with the team and has been a permanent fixture in defense ever since. This season, she played 16 out of 17 games for Leipzig and was always in the starting line-up.
