The DFB has punished the behavior of Hallescher FC supporters with fines. The club has agreed to the sentences.

The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has fined the third division club Hallescher FC a total of 38,150 euros for unsportsmanlike conduct by supporters in three cases. The club can use 12,700 euros of this amount for security or violence prevention measures, as the DFB announced on Wednesday. Hallescher FC has agreed to the verdicts, meaning that the sentences are legally binding.

30,000 euros were allocated to the burning of 58 Bengal flares in the match against Waldhof Mannheim on January 13, 2024. The match had to be interrupted for two and a half minutes and four people were slightly injured by the smoke.

A month later, supporters threw tennis balls onto the pitch in the 12th minute of the league home match against FC Erzgebirge Aue on February 11, 2024 as part of the protest actions against a possible DFL investor, which led to an interruption of six and a half minutes. Further tennis balls were later thrown onto the pitch. The club has to pay €5,000 for this incident. On February 25, nine pyrotechnic objects were set off by supporters before the start of the third division match against VfB Lübeck, which was punished with a fine of 3150 euros.
