Climate protection, artificial intelligence and sustainability - Saxon schools cooperate with regional companies in a special field.

In Saxony, the first 25 schools have entered into educational partnerships with companies from the STEM sector (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). The project aims to get young people interested in scientific careers, the Ministry of Education announced. It focuses on topics such as climate protection, artificial intelligence and sustainability.

The project is free of charge for the schools. Companies cover the costs of the project materials and also provide insights into the professional and working world.

The educational partnerships are part of the so-called MINT Hub - a cooperation between the Ministry of Education, the state working group "Schulewirtschaft Sachsen", the "Wissensfabrik - Unternehmen für Deutschland e.V." and the Beisheim Foundation.
