A motorcyclist has died in a serious traffic accident in the district of Celle. The 36-year-old man succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident in Winsen/Aller, as the police announced on Thursday. According to initial investigations, a 42-year-old woman drove her car into oncoming traffic on district road 4 on Wednesday evening and collided with the 36-year-old on his light motorcycle. According to the police, an alcohol test on the woman showed a blood alcohol level of 1.99 per mille. A blood sample was taken from the woman and her driver's license was confiscated. She faces criminal proceedings.
