Police officers have detected several speeding violations during a speed check in Dresden. One man was driving particularly fast.

A driver in Dresden has been driving more than twice as fast as the speed limit. Instead of the permitted 50 kilometers per hour, the man drove past the checkpoint at 123 kilometers per hour, according to the police. He must therefore expect a fine of at least 1,400 euros, two points and a three-month driving ban. Police officers recorded a total of 432 vehicles at the checkpoint on Tuesday, 38 of which were speeding.
