A driver has died in an accident on the B183 federal highway in Bad Düben (district of North Saxony). According to the police, the man left the road in a bend on Saturday afternoon and crashed into a tree. His vehicle then caught fire.
No further information was initially available. The "Leipziger Volkszeitung" newspaper had previously reported on the incident. The main road was closed in both directions due to the firefighting and recovery work.
