The Left Party in the Saxon state parliament has announced its support for Michael Kretschmer (CDU) in the upcoming election for Minister President. "We also do not want those forces in the CDU that want to give the AfD influence to prevail. For this reason, and because he rules out cooperation with the AfD, Michael Kretschmer can count on our support," the parliamentary group announced on Platform X.
