Dresdner SC's volleyball players fulfilled their compulsory task against newly promoted Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt and defended their lead in the table with a clear victory.

Dresdner SC's volleyball players did their duty on the tenth Bundesliga matchday against newly promoted Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt and won 3:0 (25:20, 25:18, 25:19). With their ninth win, Alexander Waibl's team also consolidated their lead in the table.

In the first set, the still winless bottom team from Thuringia put up brave resistance for a long time in front of 2,208 spectators, but in the end the favorites retained the upper hand thanks to their penetrating power in attack. Erfurt also put up their best resistance in the second and third periods, but the league leaders played to their strengths in all elements and also made fewer mistakes than the visitors from Thuringia. Alexander Waibl could afford to give numerous players from the second row a chance to play.
