As in the luge, the track in Altenberg deteriorated extremely in the second run. This tended to benefit the slower starters.
Jacqueline Pfeifer and Axel Jungk win the German skeleton championships. Pfeifer comes out on top ahead of Hannah Neise and Corinna Leipold, while Jungk wins ahead of Felix Keisinger and Felix Seibel.
