Eckert & Ziegler opens its new premises in Dresden. The company wants to send a clear signal for the future of radiopharmacy in the region.

The radiation and medical technology group Eckert & Ziegler has put its new 1,700 square meter premises in Dresden into operation. "The new building is proof of Eckert & Ziegler's growth success in the region, but also of the fruitful framework conditions that this location brings with it," said Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs Martin Dulig (SPD). The company is making a further contribution to Saxony becoming a leading radiopharmaceutical center in Europe together with science and the nuclear medicine companies based here.

At the Dresden-Rossendorf site, high-tech systems for the production of radiopharmaceuticals are produced and delivered worldwide, and services for the handling and disposal of radioactive products in cancer medicine are provided. Eckert & Ziegler is investing up to 50 million euros in the expansion of the production site. According to the city of Dresden, the new buildings that have now been completed are the basis for the company's further expansion and create the foundation for up to 100 additional highly qualified jobs in plant engineering and radiopharmacy in Saxony.
