Four people have been injured - two of them seriously - in an accident on the B115 federal highway near Niesky in the district of Görlitz. According to the police, the car veered off the road to the right and hit a tree. The 28-year-old driver stated that he had to swerve because of a wild animal on the road.
There were a total of four occupants in the vehicle - three men and one woman. During the accident investigation, the police discovered that the driver did not have a valid driver's license. In addition, one of the passengers was wanted by the police.
The police estimate the damage to property at around 1,000 euros. The main road was fully closed for around two hours.
