There are 15 parties and voter associations on the ballot paper for the city council elections in Dresden on June 9. 12 of them have been registered in all eleven constituencies, including the AfD, the CDU, the Left Party, the SPD and the Greens, the city administration announced on Friday. The municipal election committee examined the nominations submitted for the city council on Thursday and decided on their approval.
A total of 903 candidates will be on the ballot papers for the city council elections. The far-right Free Saxons are also running across the city. The Sahra Wagenknecht alliance has been approved in nine constituencies. A minimum number of supporting signatures is required in each case.
