The volleyball players of VC Bitterfeld-Wolfen are shaking up the Bundesliga. Coach Alessandro Lodi's charges won their guest match at Baden Volleys SSC Karlsruhe 3:2 (25:23, 19:25, 25:27, 25:22, 15:12) on Tuesday. After 126 minutes, the team from Bitterfeld converted their third match point. With the third win in the third match, the newly promoted team moved up to second place in the table.
After winning the first set, the visitors lost the thread of the game and conceded two sets in a row. However, as in the 3:2 win in Dachau, the Bitterfeld side showed nerves of steel to turn this encounter around.
