Child hit by car at streetcar stop

A child has been hit and seriously injured by a car at a streetcar station in Dresden. The ten-year-old was crossing the road next to a traffic light in the Hellerau district on Wednesday afternoon, police said. He was hit by a car driver. The child was taken to hospital. Details of his state of health or the exact course of the accident were not initially known.
