At Easter, holidaymakers can fly to numerous sunny destinations from Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports. A total of 129 passenger aircraft will be taking off from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday - 46 in Dresden and 83 in Leipzig/Halle. Among other destinations, there will be flights to the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf and major European cities, as Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG announced on Monday. "We are expecting around 20,000 departing travelers. That is already an increased volume at the start of the vacations," said a spokesperson.
