Volleyball Bundesliga team Dresdner SC has found a new assistant coach and signed Serb Vladimir Kapris. The 35-year-old moves from championship runner-up SC Potsdam to the Elbe and signs a one-year contract. It enters the succession of Markus Steuerwald, which hired in the meantime with the German men's champion BR Volleys in Berlin as a co-trainer.

Kapris works already since 2010 as a coach, gained first in its homeland with several ladies' first league teams experience, before he came 2021 to Potsdam. He is married to libera Aleksandra Jegdic, whose move from Potsdam to Dresden has already been announced.

"Serbia is a very successful volleyball nation. The technical-tactical approach there is different than in most other European countries. I am excited about our cooperation and look forward to gaining new insights," said Alexander Waibl, who still has a contract with the six-time German champion until 2026.
